Adaptive Symbiotic Technologies is a biotechnology company focused on addressing abiotic stresses on agricultural and natural ecosystems. AST’s successes stand on the shoulders of more than 150 years of research on symbiotic interactions between plants and microorganisms.
Over the last 25 years, the AST team of scientists have discovered that certain types of symbiotic fungi, known as endophytes, can confer several benefits to plants. With this knowledge, we have developed a series of microbial seed and plant treatments to confer stress tolerances to crop plants. biology agtech agricultural service
Beginning in 2015, AST has tested cotton in Australia and the USA with their BioEnsure® endophyte inoculum and has found promising results derived from in-furrow and on seed application. In-Furrow application over 3 years in Australia has demonstrated enhanced lint and seed yields compared to untreated control (UTC) areas. biology
