We are an inventive and hard-working group dedicated to making an impact in agriculture and doing it differently. We are scientists, business minds, growers, world travelers, voracious readers, mushroom nerds, hot chili aficionados and we like to think outside the box. We are lucky enough to love what we do, and who we do it with.

We are motivated by global stresses on agriculture and an increasing concern for feeding an ever-growing population. Our search to develop solutions for a more sustainable future is based on one of the most fundamental aspects of all plant and animal life on earth - symbiosis.  And over the last 25 years we've learned a thing or two about it. 

Our Vision

We are dedicated to improving agricultural sustainability & farmers' profitability by developing novel technologies to mitigate the impacts of climate variability. To achieve this goal, we continually undertake research to understand the role of fungal endophytes in plant bio-geography and adaptation. This research encompasses many plant and fungal species in habitats encompassing temperate, subtropical and desert ecosystems on several continents around the world. Our intent is to make this technology available to small and large-scale farmers in first world and developing nations. We believe that increasing agricultural sustainability and crop yields will decrease human hardship and lead to more social and political stability around the globe.
